Located in the heart of Wrocław, our office is one of Opera's key technology and development hubs, bringing together teams across engineering, product development, design, AI, and other business functions.

Our colleagues work on browser technologies and digital products used by people around the world, combining technical expertise, creativity, and collaboration to improve how people interact with the web.

Our History

2006

The Beginning

Opera established its presence in Wrocław in 2006, starting with a team of 23 people focused on browser development and expanding Opera's engineering capabilities in Europe.

2007

The Journey Continues

As the team grew, Opera moved to a larger office in Wrocław's historic Market Square in 2007. This marked an important stage in the development of our local engineering team and its contribution to Opera's browser products.

2016

A New Chapter of Growth

In 2016, Opera Wrocław moved to its current home at Plac Teatralny, in the distinctive Hieronimus Building, also known as the “Glass House”.

Located in the city centre, the office combines modern workspaces with easy access to Wrocław's historic surroundings, providing a welcoming environment for collaboration and everyday work.

  • Are working hours flexible at Opera?

    Yes, we offer flexible working hours, with core hours from 10:00 to 15:00 for meetings and team collaboration. Outside these hours, employees have flexibility in organising their working day, depending on their role and team responsibilities.

  • What transport options are available to the office?

    Our office at Plac Teatralny is centrally located and easily accessible by public transport, with several tram and bus stops nearby.

    For cyclists, the building offers dedicated bicycle parking. If you prefer driving, public parking facilities are available nearby, including at the National Forum of Music and Renoma.

  • Is there a relaxation zone or other shared spaces in the office?

    Yes, our office has dedicated relaxation areas where colleagues can take a break, connect, and unwind. Facilities include a pool table, table tennis, video games, table football, and an electronic drum kit.

    We also offer spaces for yoga and healthy spine classes. Nearby Park Staromiejski provides another option for taking a break outdoors.

    We don't have a formal dress code for everyday office work. Employees are welcome to dress comfortably and appropriately for their role and planned activities.
