Public Relations Intern
Location: Oslo, Norway or Wrocław, Poland (hybrid)
This is a paid, full-time internship opportunity.
Opera’s PR team is looking for a passionate and tech-savvy Public Relations Intern to support our work across desktop and gaming products, with a strong focus on AI. You’ll collaborate closely with product and marketing teams, help craft and amplify our PR stories, and engage directly with the media. This role is perfect for someone who’s excited about browsers, obsessed with AI tools, and wants to be part of shaping how millions of users discover what we build.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Assist in coordinating PR activities with product and marketing teams,
- Gather updates and track launches across Opera’s ecosystem,
- Draft and edit press releases, evergreen pitches, and blog posts,
- Build and maintain media lists; support outreach and coverage tracking,
- Use AI tools to boost PR efficiency,
- Help structure reporting files and track campaign performance.
Job Requirements:
- Strong writing skills in English (press releases, media content, etc.),
- Enthusiasm for browser technology, digital trends, and new product releases,
- Active use of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini) for research and writing,
- Basic knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets for tracking and reporting,
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
An Ideal Candidate’s Profile:
- Proactive mindset - eager to pitch stories, not just follow instructions,
- Previous experience in communications, journalism, or media relations is a plus,
- Comfortable working in a fast-changing, global environment.
