Senior DevOps & Python Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps & Python Developer, passionate about creating robust and scalable web applications from scratch. This person will not only serve as a developer but also as the individual responsible for our infrastructure and the reliable functioning of our projects. In our projects, we utilize technologies such as GCP, AWS, on-premise cloud, Gitlab, Terraform, Kubernetes (Helm, skaffold), Python, Go, and TypeScript. Role & Responsibilities:
Developing and deploying web applications
Support the team in managing our infrastructure, tools and CI/CD.
Monitor and optimize our existing and new projects.
Close collaboration with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient solutions.
Implementation of best practices for code quality, security, maintainability and performance optimization.
Maintenance and bug fixing: address bug reports, troubleshoot issues and conduct regular code reviews.
Ensuring that the code is secure and resistant to common vulnerabilities, with a strong focus on secure coding practices.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Python development/ DevOps role, with a strong emphasis on web application development.
Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Ability to build the infrastructure from scratch
Familiarity with CI/CD, IaaS and monitoring solutions like Gitlab, Terraform, Grafana, Prometheus, Loki.
Experience with load balancing and CDN, administration of Linux systems
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) as well as on-premises infrastructure solutions.
Ability to work effectively in Unix-based environments (MacOS or Linux) and familiarity with command-line tools and scripting.
Designing and implementing from scratch solutions with scalability and high availability in mind, capable of serving users from all over the world.
