Advertising Operations Manager
Location: Singapore
Opera is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Advertising Operations Manager to lead our Performance Advertising initiatives.
In this role, you will oversee and manage the full execution, delivery, and optimization of online advertising campaigns across the Opera Ads Network. This includes, but is not limited to, supervising campaign setup, testing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and driving performance improvements at scale. You will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence across active campaigns and guiding the team in delivering best-in-class results for our clients.
More specifically, your responsibilities include managing end-to-end campaign workflows, ensuring high-quality execution, overseeing creative and asset delivery, refining targeting strategies, and developing optimization playbooks that drive measurable business outcomes. As a manager, you will also collaborate closely with commercial, product, and technical teams to improve processes, shape solutions, and influence product enhancements through insights gathered from operations.
You will lead Ad Operations efforts primarily for the Asian market and work closely with a high-performing regional team consisting of Sales, Account Managers, and Technical Operations members who manage key advertising accounts across Asia. Your goal will be to ensure client success, operational rigor, and sustained performance on Opera’s suite of Advertising solutions. You will also be part of a global team across 4 continents, collaborating with colleagues worldwide to drive operational excellence.

Role & Responsibilities:
Performance Advertising Leadership
- Oversee the analysis of campaign data including budget pacing, performance metrics, inventory, and audience segmentation to ensure high-performing results across the portfolio.
- Establish and maintain best-practice standards for campaign execution and optimization to ensure consistency and quality across the team.
- Provide strategic guidance on campaign structure, targeting, and optimization tactics based on client objectives and market trends.
Campaign Execution & Delivery Oversight
- Manage the end-to-end execution of digital ad campaigns against insertion orders and ensure flawless delivery through proactive collaboration with commercial and technical stakeholders.
- Supervise the team’s campaign setup, testing, and troubleshooting processes, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Oversee budget pacing and delivery to ensure campaigns are aligned with contractual and performance targets.
Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a key operational liaison between Ad Ops, Sales, Account Management, Product, and Technical teams.
- Provide feedback and operational insights to product teams to improve tools, workflows, and ad platform capabilities.
- Support sales and account teams during pre-sales and post-sales cycles with guidance on feasibility, forecasting, and performance expectations.
Technical & Operational Excellence
- Oversee website testing, ad tag implementation, and troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve performance issues.
- Identify operational gaps and drive process improvements to streamline workflows and boost overall efficiency.
- Maintain a high standard of data accuracy, quality assurance, and operational discipline throughout the campaign lifecycle.
Job Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset to ensure flawless execution of campaign delivery across multiple parameters and markets.
- Demonstrated ability to lead dynamic problem-solving efforts, quickly assess challenges, and guide the team toward effective solutions in a fast-paced advertising environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with internal teams and clients.
- Prior experience working with ticket-handling systems such as Jira or Monday.com and proficiency with ad systems including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, or any Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs).
- Proven ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams to achieve shared outcomes.
- Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- 4–7 years of experience in digital advertising on the publisher, agency, or ad-tech side, with a focus on performance marketing and campaign management.
- Excellent understanding of ad tech, programmatic buying, and relevant web technologies.
- Experience using ticketing and workflow tools such as Jira or Monday.com, and proficiency in major ad systems (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, DSPs).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint, and Google Slides.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, extract insights, and define optimization strategies that improve spend efficiency and performance outcomes.
- Self-starter with demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and lead operational initiatives with minimal supervision.
