Frontend Development Intern

About the Job
We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Frontend Developer Intern to join our Desktop Commercial Team in Wrocław. As an intern, you will be supporting the implementation of marketing, product, and commercial messaging across Opera’s desktop browsers: Opera One, Opera GX, and Opera Air. You will work closely with developers, designers, and marketing specialists to create user-facing features that enhance user engagement and product visibility.
Role & Responsibilities:
Implementation and maintenance of in-product notifications (Rich Hints) used for marketing, product, and commercial purposes across our desktop browsers (Opera One/GX/Air)
Working on frontend changes to Opera’s Startpage, often in the form of A/B tests
Helping in maintaining and improving the frontend of Opera’s CMS used to configure browser placements
Job Requirements:
Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and basic React
Ability to implement animations and sound-triggered UI when required
Familiarity with frontend development best practices and responsive design
Strong attention to detail and willingness to work across multiple design variants for different browser versions
Solid English-speaking skills (at least B2)
An Ideal Candidate’s Profile:
Interest or experience in marketing or product-focused frontend features
Passion for tech products and digital marketing
Experience with A/B testing or analytics tools is a plus
Student of Computer Science or another IT field
