System Administrator
Location: Wrocław, Poland (Hybrid)
We’re looking for a System Administrator to join our Company IT team within Global IT at Opera. In this role, you’ll take care of our internal systems used across the organization, ensuring their stability, scalability, and security. You’ll collaborate closely with other IT teams and serve as a key contact for internal stakeholders. This position combines system administration, automation, and problem-solving, offering an opportunity to learn and grow in a global environment where technology and innovation meet everyday teamwork.
Role & Responsibilities:
Administrate and maintain internal systems and services to ensure reliability and performance.
Automate tasks and improve processes to increase efficiency and reduce manual work.
Provide support for internal stakeholders and handle support requests.
Create and maintain technical documentation for systems and automation processes.
Collaborate with other Global IT teams to ensure smooth operation of cross-department systems.
Job Requirements:
Solid experience in Linux system administration.
Familiarity with GIT and configuration management tools (ideally Puppet).
Understanding of database administration (preferably Postgres).
Willingness to automate tasks and work with APIs.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Scripting experience (e.g., Bash/Python).
