Ad Operations Specialist
Location: Singapore (Remote)
Opera is looking for a highly motivated and dynamic Ad Operations Specialist to join our Global Client Solutions team and support our Performance Advertising initiatives.
In this role you will be responsible for managing the full execution and delivery of online ad campaigns. This includes, but not limited to, setting up, testing, monitoring and optimizing online ad campaigns across the entire Opera Ads Network.
More specifically, these responsibilities include overseeing the creation of ad campaigns from the beginning, uploading creative materials, specifying targeting parameters and finally monitoring, assessing and improving campaign performance based on clients’ goals. In this role you will also have the opportunity to partner closely with commercial, product & technical teams and focus on improving our operations, our solutions and our performance by gaining and transferring cross-functional information and skills.
You will be responsible primarily for the Asian market, where you will work closely with an already existing high performing team in the region consisting of Sales, Account Managers and Technical Operations people who are responsible for key advertising accounts from Medium to Large corporations located across Asia.
The goal will be to work closely with this group and to ensure client success by meeting their marketing and business objectives using the Opera’s Advertising solutions. Additionally, you will be a part of a larger global group located in 4 continents and you will have the opportunity to partner with people all over the world.
You are the ideal candidate if you are passionate about understanding campaign intricacies and how to improve performance while leveraging the range of Opera’s advertising products. You possess strong analytical abilities, you have experience and passion for performance marketing and you want to design and implement winning campaigns, optimize performance and drive success for the team and our clients.
Role & Responsibilities:
Performance Advertising Management: Analyze campaign data including budget spent, campaign results, inventory, audience, segmentation and make the necessary changes and adjustments to ensure high performance.
Execute digital ad campaigns against insertion orders and proactively collaborate with commercial & technical stakeholders for campaign success
Internal cross-functional stakeholder coordination with commercial, product and technical teams.
Test websites, implement ad tags, and drive solutions for performance issues
Analyze and control the budget spent
Optimize campaign effectiveness to align with client objectives
Job Requirements:
Attention to detail and proactive approach to ensure flawless execution of campaign delivery across various parameters
Proficient in dynamic problem-solving, adept at quickly devising alternative solutions to navigate the fast-paced advertising environment
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal to interact effectively with team members and clients.
Prior experience with ticket-handling tools such as Jira or Monday.com, as well as proficiency in ad systems including Google Ads, Facebook Ads or any Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs)
Collaborative mindset, able to work cohesively within a team environment to achieve shared goals
Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualification:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
2-5 years of experience in digital advertising on the publisher or agency side and experience in performance marketing.
Excellent understanding of ad tech, programmatic advertising, and web technologies.
Prior experience with ticket-handling tools such as Jira or Monday.com, as well as proficiency in ad systems including Google Ads, Facebook Ads or any Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs)
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint, and Google Slides.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and insights, optimize spend and performance based on these insights.
Must be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision to initiate and complete tasks.
