Junior Social Media Manager – German Language (Freelancer)
Location: Germany (Freelance, full-time – 40h/week)
This is a Germany-based role. Applicants must already reside in Germany; relocation is not offered for this position.
We are seeking a Junior Social Media Manager with native-level German language skills and fluency in English to support our campaigns for the German-speaking market. This is an exciting opportunity to bring your creative flair, cultural knowledge, and linguistic expertise to a variety of campaigns targeting desktop and mobile audiences.
You’ll collaborate with our social media managers, content creators, and campaign teams, ensuring that every piece of content resonates with the local audience while staying true to our brand’s tone and values.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Localise and adapt global social media content for German-speaking audiences, ensuring cultural relevance and linguistic accuracy.
- Maintain a native-level brand voice in German, while aligning with local trends and audience expectations.
- Schedule and publish content across relevant platforms.
- Provide local market insights to strengthen campaign strategies.
- Monitor engagement, audience feedback, and emerging trends in the German market.
- Contribute creative input to campaign execution and future content planning.
Job Requirements:
- Native-level proficiency in German (spoken and written) is essential.
- Fluency in English is a must; Polish language skills are an advantage.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and current trends.
- Experience in content creation (text, visuals, short-form video) and basic video editing.
- Ability to interpret KPIs and optimise content for performance.
- Basic design skills are a plus.
- Portfolio or examples of previous creative work are highly valued.
