We are looking for a Performance Marketing Intern to join Opera’s Mobile Browsers growth team in our Oslo office. If you’re self-driven, creative and are keen to learn more about browsers and work with exciting marketing campaigns, then we believe this would be a great opportunity for you. The ideal candidate will be able to develop and execute creative ad concepts that drive results, while also being comfortable with analyzing data & optimize campaign performance.
Role & Responsibilities:
Create, optimize, and manage performance ad campaigns,
Develop and brief creative concepts, manage feedback loops with designers, and identify what works creatively across global markets for performance advertising.
Prepare reports on key metrics, identify trends and patterns, and translate creative performance into actionable data,
Adapt campaigns to different cultural contexts and user behavior, applying a test-and-learn approach for global scaling.
Job Requirements:
Comfortable in using spreadsheets to analyze marketing data (Google Sheets or Excel) and the ability to interpret data/graphs,
Strong understanding of marketing and branding fundamentals, with a creative eye for performance elements,
Excellent communication skills in English; able to explain creative rationale and feedback across teams,
Familiarity with digital ad platforms (Meta, Google Ads, TikTok) is a plus,
Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, feedback-heavy environment.
An Ideal Candidate’s Profile:
A marketing or business student, with a passion for creativity and performance,
Demonstrates both analytical and creative thinking - can evaluate content performance and turn insights into actionable improvements,
Has some hands-on experience (internships, projects) in content creation, copywriting, or managing online ads; naturally curious about how audiences engage with different types of content.
