Country Growth Director

About the job
We’re looking for a driven and well-connected Country Growth Director to lead Opera’s local marketing, growth, and distribution efforts in Turkey. This is a strategic and hands-on role for someone who knows the internet space in Turkey inside out, has a strong cross-functional network, and can execute impactful local initiatives that grow our user base.
Role & Responsibilities:
Build and execute impactful strategies to grow Opera’s user base in Turkey through marketing, partnerships, and distribution.
Collaborate with global stakeholders across Marketing, Product Marketing Managers (PMMs), Growth, and Creative teams to ensure product-market fit and drive localization of campaigns.
Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic local partnerships across tech, media, telco, and content spaces.
Manage external agencies, media partners, and brand collaborators to execute 360° marketing campaigns.
Lead end-to-end planning and execution of fully integrated local marketing campaigns—from idea to launch to analysis.
Conduct local market research, trend reporting, and competitive analysis to inform strategy and product positioning.
Job Requirements:
A senior marketing or business development professional with deep experience in the Turkish internet/digital ecosystem.
Have a proven track record of driving user growth through innovative and locally relevant marketing and partnership strategies.
Possess an extensive local network across marketing, sales, content, and distribution channels.
Highly execution-focused, self-driven, and comfortable operating in fast-paced environments.
Skilled in building and managing cross-functional teams and agency relationships.
Fluency in Turkish and English.
Familiar with Opera’s suite of products or similar digital consumer products.
