Business Development Intern
This is a paid onsite internship opportunity in Opera Barcelona; remote work and relocation are not considered.
As a Business Development Intern at Opera Browser (Desktop business unit), you will be responsible for supporting the Business Development team in expanding Opera Desktop’s market share and driving growth in new and existing markets. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify new business opportunities, build relationships with potential partners, and execute on strategic initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the tech industry and make a meaningful impact on a global brand.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and potential partners.
- Assist in building relationships with potential partners and negotiating agreements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Marketing, and Legal, to develop and execute on strategic initiatives.
- Create presentations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Analyze and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of business development efforts.
- Assist in organizing and attending events, conferences, and other business development activities.
Job Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and other languages such as Spanish, French, German, Portuguese or Russian.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset, working with data and number is your daily bread.
- Familiarity with tech industry trends and competitive landscape.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
An Ideal Candidate’s Profile:
- Previous experience in business development, account management or sales.
- Familiarity with browser or software products is a plus.
