As a Social Media intern based in Oslo, Norway, you will be closely working with our Product Marketing and Communication team to support content creation for Opera’s social media channels globally. We are looking for someone who is creative, proactive, well-organized, and able to multitask. You will be an important part of maintaining customer relations with our users worldwide as well as engaging and growing Opera’s social community of over 16 million people. This job requires excellent English proficiency and a service-minded attitude. You will be one of the highly recognized Opera representatives among the whole of Opera’s Social media community. Role & Responsibilities:
- Create compelling & engaging content tailored to audiences and formats of each Social Media platform on a regular basis - including memes.
- Working closely with the Social media and Product marketing team to support all Social and brand initiatives.
- Drive, measure, and report community growth and engagement from social media. Provide reports on feedback and sentiment.
- Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices, trends, and technologies to advise on the company’s social media strategy.
- Ensuring day-to-day positive brand perception by providing customer support and delivering structured feedback to product teams.
- Providing customized reports on social media performance including competitive analysis insight and supporting social media campaign analysis
- Develop and execute campaigns with influencers.
- Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices, trends, and technologies to advise on the company’s social media strategy.
Job Requirements:
- Active student's status
- Interest and passion for Social Media is a must.
- Excellent written and communication skills in English (English CV is required here).
- Knowledge of Social Media platforms such as TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube & Facebook.
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media and digital marketing.
- Good at time management and working under pressure.
- Good knowledge of tech and the web.
- Detail-oriented and enthusiastic.
- Data analysis skills with proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel.
- Motivation to start projects, work independently, and drive projects forward.
An Ideal Candidate’s Profile:
- Previous experience in comms/marketing/SoMe blogging is a plus.
- Knowledge of setting up paid campaigns on Social Media is a plus.
- Previous experience in creating a content strategy incl. short-form video content and memes is a plus.
