Opera is growing its Global IT infrastructure team in Poland. We are looking for a candidate for the position of System administrator intern in our IT infrastructure team to help us build, expand, and improve our cloud computing platform. You will work with the Global IT Team and several product teams on maintaining and improving Opera’s private cloud environment.

While everybody is using the cloud today, you’ll be building it!


  • Remotely fixing common problems with servers located in Opera’s datacenters (supervising server problem troubleshooting and coordinating server components replacement) with the help of remote hands services on site
  • Bare metal servers provisioning and firmware management
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation
  • Updating internal inventory system
  • Participating in Infrastructure and Global IT team meetings
  • Cooperating with the infrastructure team in managing servers lifecycle from their purchase to decommission


  • Understanding of computer hardware components
  • Ability to work with Linux
  • Interest in servers hardware infrastructure
  • Willingness to learn and develop IT related skills
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken (B2 or higher)
