About the role

You will be responsible for building and executing an exciting roadmap to deliver new and enhanced products that improve ad performance and grow Advertising revenue for Opera. You are the product leader who will work collaboratively with your Engineering, Product, Design Research, and Sales partners to drive the roadmap for Performance Ads — from existing products to new solutions as business and customer needs evolve.


  • Work closely with stakeholders across engineering, design, research, product marketing and more to deliver products that help advertisers acquire, retain, and re-engage customers across their apps and websites
  • Own and deliver success on revenue growth for Performance Ads by developing a compelling product vision and roadmap, and executing on it
  • Deeply understand the needs of advertisers and Opera users in key markets to drive high-quality, rapid product launches -- all with a team of customer-focused engineers and product designers
  • Synthesize insights from user research, customer meetings, usage data, sales feedback, and competitive analysis to prioritize improvements and new feature ideas that will deliver business objectives and customer benefits
  • Develop methods for assessing product and project success, and processes to increase the likelihood of it
  • You like to move fast, all while paying attention to details
  • You should be passionate about the opportunity of managing a product from idea to successfully launching a product that generates big revenue targets


  • 5+ years product management or relevant industry experience
  • Experience taking one or more products through the full product cycle, from proposal to launch
  • Experience driving impact through cross-functional leadership
  • Scrappy, “impact-focused” attitude
  • Ability to incorporate data, research and market analysis to inform product decisions
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Desire to work in and help create an inclusive, supportive, and team-oriented environment
  • Experience working on ad products
  • Computer science or engineering background preferred; MBA is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
