Opera is looking into enhancing its AI-based feature-set and further product development with AI capabilities in mind. We are looking for experienced AI network engineers to measure performance, operate, maintain and improve infiniband networks and ethernet fabrics.
A successful candidate will join the network team in the Global IT department. The Network team is responsible for Data Center networks, their performance, reliability and operations. We design DC networks, deploy them and maintain them. We build our own in-house tools, frameworks and scripts. We continuously improve configuration management and network automation for DC projects.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Design, configure and maintain network fabrics required for AI clusters.
- Monitor, troubleshoot and measure performance of network hardware with NVIDIA OS.
- Develop tools and scripts necessary for network configuration automation and maintain existing frameworks and integrations.
- Diagnose, measure and check system configuration and performance metrics.
- Design, configure and maintain DC routing and switching solutions based on the newest hardware and solutions.
Job Requirements:
- Expert knowledge and experience in Infiniband, RDMA, RoCE networks
- Hands-on experience with Mellanox hardware and Operating System
- Knowledge of HPC, performance measurements and Linux OS
- Routing protocol proficiency (BGP, OSPF) and Datacenter design / operations experience
- Experience with Internet Service Providers, Internet Exchange and their best practices
- Fluency in English
An Ideal Candidate’s Profile:
- Proficient in python scripting
- Experience with high performance firewall clusters
- CI/CD experience
- Ansible knowledge
