Senior Network Engineer
Location: Wrocław/ Warsaw/ Remote
About the job
A successful candidate will join the network team in the Global IT department. The Network team is responsible for Data Center networks, their performance, reliability and operations. We design DC networks, deploy them and maintain them. We build our own in-house tools, frameworks and scripts. We continuously improve configuration management and network automation for DC projects.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Design DC networks, physical and logical setups, upgrade capacity, work with remote hands on daily operations
- Respond to incidents, optimize routing based on various inputs, and cooperate with ISPs.
- Develop tools and scripts necessary for network configuration automation.
- Maintain existing frameworks and scripts. Creating new tools. Use APIs.
- Diagnose, measure and check system configuration and performance metrics
- Support network side of HPC infrastructure
Job Requirements:
- Expert experience in high and low data center design: Routing, switching, Data Center Fabric, firewalling, traffic engineering
- Proficient in python scripting using API for system integrations
- Data Center daily operations. Cooperate closely with on-site remote hands.
- Full proficiency in routing protocol, operations and troubleshooting. Main focus: BGP, OSPF
- Firewalling: Firewall clusters, NAT, IPsec VPN tunnels, Remote access VPN
- Experience with Internet Service Providers, Internet Exchange and their best practices
- Knowledge of Linux OS
- Network automation, Netconf, Restconf, CI/CD experience
An Ideal Candidate’s Profile:
- Ansible knowledge
- HPC, RDMA and Infiniband networks
- Fluency in English
