Our Tallinn office team is focusing on a new European fintech product in cooperation with an Estonian licensed financial institution, and for this reason, our team needs to grow with smart and dedicated team members. About the position

You will be working closely with the Finance Director of our partner licensed payment service provider on developing and communicating risk policies (business, financial, legal and security) and processes, and assuring controls are operating effectively. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing an overall risk management process for the organisation, which includes an analysis of the financial impact on the company when risks occur
  • Performing risk assessments: analysing current risks and identifying potential risks that are affecting the company
  • Establishing the level of risk the company is willing to take
  • Preparing risk management and insurance budgets
  • Risk reporting tailored to the relevant audience. (Educating the board of directors about the most significant risks to the business; ensuring business heads understand the risks that might affect their departments; ensuring individuals understand their own accountability for individual risks)
  • Explaining the external risk posed by corporate governance to stakeholders
  • Creating business continuity plans to limit risks
  • Building risk awareness amongst staff by providing support and training within the company

Qualifications

  • Masters’ degree in either Risk Management, Management or Business Studies, Finance or Economics.
  • Strong working knowledge of credit risk management and previous experience working with different types of risks
  • Analytical mind and logical thinking, eye for detail
  • Ability to understand broader business issues
  • High proficiency in both English and Estonian
  • High motivation to build a fast-going international fintech organization
  • High level of communication and team working skills
