Marketing Intern (paid)

Opera is looking for a marketing intern to join the Opera GX team in Wroclaw and help with growing GX’s community. The ideal candidate will have a huge passion for gaming and a digitally savvy marketing mind to manage creative campaigns. When you join our team, you will develop and execute engaging campaigns for Opera’s GX users and focus on working with gaming influencers aimed at new users acquisition.

You will work closely with multiple teams, including the Product, Analytics, Art and Marketing Teams for planning, execution and optimisation of ad campaigns. You will cooperate with world-class ad networks’ account managers, third-party agencies to bring the best results to key KPIs.

Main responsibilities

  • Community management - animating, organizing giveaways, sorting out problems, working with moderators to provide best possible experience
  • Measure and report community engagement results. Provide reports on feedback and sentiment
  • Identify gamers social trends & topics
  • Develop and execute campaigns with influencers
  • Brainstorm new approaches to community and influencer campaigns


  • Interest and passion for the gaming industry is a must!
  • Excellent spoken and written English with a focus on copywriting.
  • Flexibility in terms of work hours.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Knowledge about gaming communities such as reddit or Discord is warmly welcome.
  • In depth knowledge of the social media marketing industry is a plus.
