We are looking for a Performance Marketing Intern to join Opera’s Mobile Browsers growth team in our Oslo office!

Now, we are currently distributing several mobile browser apps at a huge scale across several continents. We are looking for a new talented and passionate team member to join our Mobile Browsers Growth team.

*This is a paid part-time internship to start as soon as possible.


  • Support with creation of quality ad content tailored to each market and in-line with brand guidelines
  • Updating ad content based on new product updates
  • Monitoring and identifying performing ad content/keywords
  • Elaborating on creative briefs for the design team, and following up on creative projects
  • Collaboration with marketing and product teams for coordinated campaigns
  • Support with execution and optimization of campaigns - especially on Google Ads, Apple Search Ads, Facebook Ads
  • Learn by supporting the existing team and gradually take ownership of management of performance marketing campaigns (mobile app installs campaigns) to acquire users for Opera mobile browsers apps


  • Pursuing a bachelors or masters degree with a background in marketing or related courses
  • Fluency in English is a must (able to write and speak fluently and idiomatically)
  • A strong understanding of branding, marketing and user experience
  • Experience with using analytical tools such as Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
  • Ability to write good content tailored to different types of audiences
  • A good understanding of international markets
  • Exhibit a high degree of creativity to support the ideation of marketing campaigns that appeal to users of various nationalities (American, German, Russian, Nigerian, Kenyan, South African, etc)
  • Efficient time management and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to create well-structured and understandable reports
  • A positive, open attitude and willingness to help people
