Product Manager - Opera Gaming

Location: Poland (Wroclaw, Warsaw)

Responsibilities:

As a Product Manager in the Opera Gaming Business Unit you will be responsible for the development and delivery of the new Opera Gaming service offerings ensuring our platform is ahead of the curve and always with the end user/game developer in mind. You will contribute to the product vision, roadmap and related go-to-market strategy/activities. In this role you will combine strategy, design, technical and commercial skills and experience to guide colleagues in achieving forecasted outcomes. This is both product oriented and a strategic role. You'll be involved in establishing working relationships with a range of stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of business priorities.

Background:

  • 3+ years of hands on product management experience within the gaming industry
  • Good level of technical understanding
  • Start-up experience as well as experience from an established company.
  • Experience from either, or a combination of; game developer/studio, publisher, game engine or UGC company is a preference
  • Commercial experience and deep understanding of the gaming ecosystem
  • Able to lead, motivate, and develop a team - including those who do not directly report to you
  • Skilled strategist with a proven track record within the gaming vertical
  • Ability to work autonomously and think innovative
  • Passion for gaming

Required experience:

  • Having worked with gamification in the context of: behavioral economics, incentive-centered design & positive motivation
  • UGC content & social platforms


Ideal experience:

  • New ecosystem knowledge including microtransactions, Payment fraud mitigation, anti-cheat tools, etc.
  • (Self-) publishing platforms
  • Gaming SaaS knowledge
  • Metaverses
