Opera Software is looking for a PMO Manager to join the growing Opera team in Wrocław. The PMO Manager will be responsible for the delivery of programs and projects under our Desktop PC Browser Business Unit and will report directly to the BU Executive. With a global user base of over 360 million, Opera is an international internet company that has expanded into product areas beyond our popular browsers. Our product portfolio includes web browsers, fintech solutions, news aggregation services, as well as data compression and privacy software. It is constantly growing due to new initiatives and innovation in order to satisfy our user’s needs as of today and tomorrow.

Role & Responsibilities:

As PMO Manager you will be tasked with identifying, scoping, planning, and executing critical initiatives among our Project Managers. You will be coordinating new initiatives and actively work with other managers to bring ideas to life.

  • Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle and confer with project staff to outline the project plan.
  • Coordinate new initiatives from the idea, through assessment till execution and closure.
  • Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required activities and tasks.
  • Ensure that project goals are accomplished and are in line with business objectives.

Job Requirements:

  • Over 5 years of experience in IT Project Management and PMO with a solid track record in project execution.
  • High organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Demonstrable experience of working in a complex matrix management environment.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of stakeholder trust and confidence.
  • Technical background is a plus that would allow swift communication with others.
  • Great communication, including written and verbal English skills.
