Global Government Relations Specialist

Join our team as a Global Government Relations Specialist and take charge of developing and implementing our government relation strategy. You will be staying on top of relevant policies, nurturing crucial relationships, and representing us confidently across markets. Reporting directly to the VP of Communications, you will be working across departments and collaborating with multiple teams, shaping our strategy and ensuring alignment. This is a senior role that will be vital in developing and managing our engagement efforts worldwide

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive strategies for government engagement in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on government policies, regulations, and legislation affecting company operations.
  • Proactively identify government relations-related risks and opportunities, crafting action plans.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with government officials, policymakers, and influencers.
  • Represent the company in meetings, conferences, and events with government stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external specialists for cohesive strategy and support.

Job Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in government or working closely with government stakeholders from the private sector is essential.
  • Uphold a high level of integrity to navigate ethical challenges, safeguard the company's reputation, and maintain trust with stakeholders.
  • Possess an entrepreneurial mindset, showcasing agility and out-of-the-box thinking to adapt to evolving government relations landscapes.
  • Proficiency in government relations, legislative relations, public affairs and stakeholder/ community engagement.
  • Exhibit clear and persuasive communication, both written and verbal, along with strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex issues, identify solutions, and make data-informed decisions while proactively addressing challenges.
