Opera Software is looking for a Compliance Manager to join the growing Opera Payments Engineering Team located in Gothenburg, Sweden.

  • Maintain PCI DSS and other required compliance programs across the company, and interface with external auditors.
  • Work closely with product team to develop viable solutions to security and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure that all applicable compliance controls are implemented and operating effectively.
  • Assess changes to regulatory requirements and standards, and update internal policies, controls, and procedures accordingly.
  • Prepare documentation of processes associated with cardholder data.
  • Develop and maintain a security awareness program for personnel.


  • At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience (IT security, compliance, or IT audit).
  • Proven track record of building and/or maintaining a security compliance program.
  • Good understanding of software development processes, and related security challenges.
  • CISA or any assessor's certification (ISO 2700x, PCI QSA/ISA) will be a plus.
